This week was much more seasonal. Lows in the low 50's and highs in the 60's, today I think it had to be 70! Much better. Another cold front coming tomorrow night so weekend will be chilly.
WEATHER: the state of the atmosphere at a given time and place, with respect to variables such as temperature, moisture, wind velocity and barometric pressure.
Weather, it affects our lives every day from the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed. Sunny, cloudy, hot, cold, wet, dry, windy or calm, we all have to deal with the weather. I became intersted in weather while living on a sailboat in my early 20's. Living on a boat is like living outdoors. Watching a front come thru and seeing the wind change direction and the temperture change in a matter of hours, I was fascinated! I love watching the clouds build, the wind blow harder, the sky get darker and finally the sweet smell and sound of the rain. I even thought about going back to school for meteorology but that didn't work out so now I am just a girl that is into weather, are you? I'm from New York originally and currently living in Florida and we have lot's of weather from exciting thunderstorms to frightening hurricanes. I've been in the travel business for 22 years and have experienced all kinds of weather, in many places. I first realized I loved weather while living on a sailboat in the 80's.
