Back to Normal
Ok, we are finally on a warming trend. Last night we had many hours of rain, it was perfect for sleeping, the temperature was around 65 so I had my window open and enjoyed listening to the rain when I woke up occasionally during the night. Perfect timing for a rain event, it didn't ruin anyones weekend as long as you didn't have to be out last night. Today it is 70 degrees with 63% humidity and very breezy. There is a high surf advisory up. What a difference a week makes when last weekend we didn't even make it into the 50's!! We are very happy for the warming trend down here, we are not used to the really cold weather we had. I know the rest of the country is having a lot more severe winter weather but we can't help it, it's Florida!! Week ahead looks great temps in the 50's in the morning and 60's during the day, back to normal for our winter weather. Anyone else glad we will be warmer this week or do you enjoy the cold?

Up here in Vermont, we had about 5 inches of snow fall overnight. It makes the older (somewhat dirty) snow look nice and pure again.
ReplyDeleteTemperature is a mild 38 degrees right now. Monday- Jan. 18th 11:15am.
So do you think your having a typical winter in Vermont? Cause the rest of the country is having crazy weather thanks to El Nino!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I haven't lived up here in Vermont long enough to know exactly what a "typical" winter is. For some reason there often is a brief "warm up" in January then colder again for February and March. The ideal situation for living up north is either being retired, rich or having a home based business. This way you don't necessarily have to go outside and drive somewhere all the time.
