Arctic Freeze
The high in St. Petersburg today was 40!! It never went any higher and it rained the first half of the day, this was a raw day! Raw is not a weather term but definitely an accurate description, with no sun to help take away the dampness it was cold. To the north of me and I'm talking Florida, they had freezing rain, I can't remember seeing all that pink on the radar. Tonight some areas are supposed to be in the 20's. This is some winter we are having. How is it where you are? Anyone wintering in Hawaii?? We'd love to hear about the warmth, we've kind of forgotten how it feels and we are in central Florida, it's crazy! I'm getting ready for bed and it has already dropped to 37. Thank God tomorrow is Sunday and most of us can stay home. Temps are predicted to head up by Tuesday or Wednesday, let's hope so!

Up here in Vermont, it is currently 9 degrees. That's right, just 9. This post was written at 9:50pm on Sunday, January 10th. So I really can't shed to many tears for you Floridians. Calling what you have an "Arctic Freeze" is a bit of a stretch.
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy, I've gone out when the sun is out and it's very refreshing. Of course I wouldn't want i to stay to long. John
ReplyDeleteEd, I can totally understand where you are coming from! But you have had a few years in Vermont and we are just not used to this, ugh! I stole Arctic Freeze from the weather channel!
ReplyDeleteJohn if you are out, you have to be in the SUN!
