Today in St. Petersburg we beat our record high and made it to 93 degrees. Factor in the humidity the feels like temperature was in the triple digits, that is hot! Forcasters are still predicting a cool front on Friday with lower humidity and temps. Can't wait, hope it makes it.
Is anybody else tired of this long never ending season of summer? Some places have already had snow! Not that I want any of the white stuff, just a little relief.

Here in Vermont, it got down to 32 degrees last night. I was scraping ice off my wife's car windows this morning. It's not expected to break 50 degrees today or for the rest of the week. These temps are a little bit on the cool side for mid October but I don't mind. I'm not really looking foward to the snow only because of the labor involved in dealing with it and having to drive in it. Snow was best when you were a kid. The only thing you had to do was play in it.
ReplyDeleteThe first strong front of our season will pass Friday night. Chance for severe storms on Friday, especially PM. Sat looks 10-15 degrees cooler!!!!! Yahoo! And surf to boot....starting Fri PM and lasting until possibly Monday....bout time. Waist maybe plus late Fri at the right spots....Sat looks the same only from the NW...another pulse on Sunday with the winds clocking round to the N. GREAT weekend.....and an end to the flatspell we have endured during this "limp" tropo season. Have fun and enjoy....looks like a beach weekend. PM temps will drop to mid to low 50s post front days mid to low 70s.....models are in agreement finally and the charts look good.....o23
