Fall Means Football
To most people, you guys know who you are! To me football means Fall! Maybe it is from growing up in NY but I associate these things together. College Football with the bands and the kids in their sweaters,cool crisp air and leaves falling. Not that I've ever been to a college football game but this is how I imagine it to be. I'm not a sports fan but what I do like about football is when they play in inclement weather. I love the opportunity to see it snow and watching a game with the snowflakes falling and the field turning from green to white, I love it! or in the pouring rain when the field gets muddy and the guys are slip slidding around, that's when I really enjoy watching football. How about you? Any inclement weather sports stories you'd like to share? Oh, and it is 80 degrees with 80% humidity, the experts say this unseasonal, I agree, where is my FALL??

Although I'm not a football fan, I occasionally (while channel surfing) will stop on a station playing a game because I have a 42" flat screen TV and most games these days are broadcast in high definition. So the details and colors are amazing. It's really like actually being there. They even have these cameras which hover over the field to get some awesome angles. Once you start watching any shows in high definition it's hard to go back to standard TV. Anyway, weather here in Vermont today is partly sunny and about 62 degrees. It was in the 40's last night.
ReplyDeleteThey keep saying it's going to get as hot as it was a week ago but so far it's a cool 75 here in St Pete this am. Headed for a warm high around 90 today and the humidity is up. It has been cool mornings and evenings with hot afternoons. High pressure will build in this week. The front just N of us will not make it and another front mid-week will wash out also. All my hopes are locked on a stronger looking front next Sunday 10/11. This time of year the models tend to overhype the fronts! So all that will probably flex. Next chance of waves???? Re: w channel....read the charts\models on your 'puter and skip the adverts and drama! Lol j/k. O23. Regurge......Have fun.....!
